Toddler Class (Age 18mon-2yr)
During the initial years of your child's life, the foundation for their personality and intellect is established. This phase is marked by rapid learning and growth. Our aim is to create a nurturing environment where toddlers feel secure and loved, enabling them to flourish during this critical period of accelerated learning.

Our attention is directed towards nurturing growth in five essential developmental domains:
-
Sensory and perceptual development
-
Self-help skills
-
Independence
-
Physical and motor skills
-
Social and emotional growth

Toddler Activities
-
Sensory Play: Set up sensory stations with materials like water, sand, rice, or playdough. Let toddlers explore these textures with their hands and tools like scoops and containers.
-
Art and Craft: Provide simple art materials like crayons, finger paints, and stickers. Encourage toddlers to create their own masterpieces or participate in guided crafts like finger painting or collage making.
-
Music and Movement: Have a dance party with lively music and encourage toddlers to move their bodies to the beat. You can also incorporate musical instruments like tambourines, shakers, and drums for added fun.
-
Story Time: Read age-appropriate books aloud to the toddlers, using expressive voices and gestures to keep them engaged. You can also act out stories using puppets or props to make them more interactive.
-
Outdoor Play: If possible, take toddlers outside for some fresh air and physical activity. Set up a mini obstacle course, provide ride-on toys, or let them explore nature in a safe outdoor environment.
-
Learning Games: Introduce simple games and activities that teach concepts like colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. For example, you can play matching games with colored blocks or use flashcards for letter recognition.
-
Pretend Play: Set up a dramatic play area with costumes and props where toddlers can use their imagination to role-play different scenarios, such as playing house or pretending to be animals.
-
Fine Motor Skills Activities: Provide opportunities for toddlers to practice their fine motor skills through activities like threading beads onto strings, using tweezers to pick up small objects, or tearing paper to make collages.
-
Outdoor Exploration: Take toddlers on nature walks to explore the world around them. Encourage them to observe plants, insects, and other natural elements while fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity.
-
Group Games and Songs: Engage toddlers in simple group games like Simon Says or Ring Around the Rosie. Singing nursery rhymes and action songs together can also be a fun way to promote language development and social interaction.
